CIRCULAR ECONOMY COLLAGE

Workshop to understand the principles of the circular economy and strategies to move to a sustainable production and consumption model.

Key scientific facts

The workshop draws on studies that show that currently, only 8.6% of materials used worldwide are reintroduced into the economic cycle. The World Economic Forum’s Circular Economy Report highlights that widespread adoption of this model could reduce global CO2 emissions by 39% by 2030. It also highlights the importance of recycling and reuse in combating pollution.

Process and duration

This workshop lasts approximately 3 hours and is divided into three phases. In the first phase, participants analyze the current linear economic model and its limits (production-consumption-disposal). Then, they discover the principles of the circular economy, including recycling, reuse and repair. Finally, a collaborative reflection phase invites participants to identify concrete levers for action in their personal and professional spheres.

What is it about ?

The Circular Economy Fresk is a workshop that helps participants understand the basics of the circular economy, a development model that aims to reduce the waste of resources, extend the life of products and minimize waste. By participating in this workshop, you will discover concrete solutions to adopt more sustainable practices in your daily life.

Why is it essential ?

The circular economy offers a sustainable alternative to the linear economic model, which relies on resource extraction and mass waste production. In the face of dwindling natural resources and environmental crises, it is imperative to rethink the way we consume. Adopting a circular economy helps conserve resources, reduce pollution and limit greenhouse gas emissions.
