CLIMATE PUZZLE
Educational game that helps to understand the different elements of climate change and their interconnections through a collaborative puzzle.
Key scientific facts
The Climate Puzzle is based on the latest research from the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) and reliable scientific data on global warming. Studies show that the global average temperature has already increased by around 1.1°C compared to the pre-industrial era, and without urgent action, it could reach 3°C or more by the end of the century. The puzzle also highlights phenomena such as feedback loops, rising sea levels and climate migrations.
Process and duration
The workshop lasts approximately 2 hours and follows a multi-stage process. Participants begin by assembling a puzzle representing the different facets of climate change. Each piece of the puzzle corresponds to a key factor (such as CO2 emissions, deforestation, or melting ice) and participants must think together about how these pieces fit together to form an overall picture of the causes and effects of global warming. A discussion phase closes the workshop, allowing for discussion on possible solutions.
What is it about ?
The Climate Puzzle is a fun and collaborative workshop that allows participants to understand the scientific bases of climate change. Through a puzzle representing the causes and consequences of global warming, participants become aware of the complex interactions between human activities, greenhouse gas emissions and environmental and social impacts.
Why is it essential ?
Understanding the complexity of the interactions that cause global warming is essential to take effective action. This game makes these scientific concepts more accessible to all, promoting a collective understanding of climate issues. Thanks to its collaborative aspect, the Climate Puzzle encourages reflection and joint action, allowing participants to feel concerned and active in the fight against climate change.
