1. Introduction
At Bleen, protecting your personal data is a priority. This privacy policy sets out, transparently, how we collect, use, store and share personal data in the course of our activities: client relationship management, recruitment, consulting assignments, internal staff management, and use of our website.
This policy complies with the "General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU 2016/679)". It may be amended to reflect legal or organisational changes.
2. Candidate data
We collect and process candidate data solely for selection and recruitment purposes. This data may include: last name, first name, contact details, academic and professional background, languages, and any information relevant to assessing a profile.
Sources: unsolicited applications, responses to job offers, job fairs, professional networks, etc.
The data is processed on the following legal bases: pre-contractual measures (art. 6.1.b), legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f), and/or legal obligation (art. 6.1.c).
3. Client and prospect data
We process the personal data of contact persons at our clients and prospects: name, role, email, phone number, preferences, contact history, etc.
This data is used for prospecting, project management, contracting and delivery of our services.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f) or performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b).
4. Staff data
We process the personal data of our staff and consultants for HR, contractual and administrative management: civil status, contact details, contract, working hours, scheduling, pay, leave, absences, social security, etc.
Certain sensitive data (such as health data in the event of incapacity for work) may be processed where required by law.
Legal basis: performance of the employment contract (art. 6.1.b), legal obligation (art. 6.1.c).
5. Website visitor data
When you browse our website, we may collect certain technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, session duration) as well as information via cookies for statistical and functional purposes.

Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a) for non-essential cookies; legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f) for functional cookies.
6. Recipients and data transfers
Personal data may be shared with:
- Our clients and partners in order to carry out our assignments;
- Our processors (hosting, HR or commercial tools) acting on our behalf;
- Authorities where required by law.
If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place (standard contractual clauses, countries recognised as adequate, etc.).
7. Data security
Bleen implements measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data.
Access to data is limited to authorised persons according to their role.
8. Retention period
We retain personal data as follows:
- Candidates: max. 2 years after the process is closed, unless otherwise agreed or legally required;
- Clients/prospects: for the duration of the relationship + 3 years maximum;
- Staff: in accordance with the applicable legal periods (e.g. 5 to 10 years for certain HR documents);
- Web data: according to the lifespan of the cookies (see cookie policy).
9. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access your data;
- Request its rectification or erasure;
- Request restriction of processing;
- Object to processing (in certain cases);
- Obtain a portable copy of your data.
