What your Bleen CSO covers
The role spans four areas, delivered in sequence or in parallel depending on where you stand.
Governance and steering. Your CSO sets up the steering committee, defines its agenda and runs the meetings. They report directly to your executive team and serve as the single point of accountability for impact progress.
Strategy and roadmaps. Starting from a maturity diagnostic, they build your roadmap: energy and climate trajectory, biodiversity action plan, social policy, circular economy priorities. Each workstream gets measurable targets and a timeline.
Execution and coordination. Plans without follow-through are expensive decoration. Your CSO coordinates internal teams, manages external providers (auditors, certifiers, contractors, data platforms) and tracks KPIs monthly.
Reporting and compliance. EU Taxonomy, CSRD, SFDR, GRI and voluntary frameworks: your CSO handles the methodology, data collection and production of your reporting. When auditors knock, the file is ready.

How the engagement works
Month 1: Diagnostic and setup. Your CSO maps your current maturity, reviews existing documents, meets key stakeholders and identifies the three to five priorities for the first six months.
Months 2–6: Build. Roadmap construction, governance setup, first action plans. Your CSO is present in your offices on agreed days, joins your management committees and holds weekly syncs with your internal relay person.
Months 6–12: Run and report. Execution of action plans, KPI tracking, first reporting cycle where applicable. The CSO adjusts the roadmap based on actual results and prepares the next phase.
Beyond 12 months. Most clients extend. Some reduce the pace to 2 days per month once governance is stable. Others increase it during reporting periods. The format adapts.
