Execution Engine

An experienced project manager who joins your team to keep things moving. The person who turns a plan into progress, holds the many moving parts together, and shares your commitment to the transition.
Key Takeaways
- An experienced project manager embedded in your team, usually full-time (flexible arrangements possible)
- Brings drive, coordination and follow-through to keep your projects moving
- At home on sustainability programmes and on the wider operational and transformation work of transition actors
- Capacity you direct and integrate into your team, not a deliverable you commission

What a Bleen project manager brings
Drive. The PM's job is momentum: turning a plan into motion and keeping it moving when energy fades, priorities compete and obstacles appear. They are the reason things actually happen.
Coordination. Projects pull on many people who don't naturally work together. The PM is the connective tissue for gathering the inputs, aligning the stakeholders, keeping everyone moving in the same direction.
A steady hand under pressure. When timelines slip or problems surface, the PM keeps a clear head, re-plans, and keeps the team confident and on course.
Awareness of your world. Bleen PMs work with the actors of the transition. They understand the realities of energy, utility, transport and public-sector organisations, and adapt fast to your context.
A sense of purpose. Whatever the specific project, the PM is helping an organisation that is part of the energy and sustainability transition move forward. That purpose matters to all our consultants.

Why bring in a Bleen project manager
You need someone to own it, full-time. Most projects stall because they are someone's side responsibility. An embedded PM makes the project their whole job.
Capacity, not a contract. This isn't a deliverable you commission, it's an experienced person who joins your team and drives the work under your direction.
Experience that travels. A Bleen PM has run projects across organisations and sectors. They have seen what goes wrong, and they know how to keep it from happening to you.
Flexible by design. Most of our PMs work full-time for the life of the project, but the arrangement adapts: phased, part-time, or scaled as needed.

How the engagement works
Matching. We start from the profile you need and propose a project manager whose experience fits your context and your project.
Onboarding (1–2 weeks). They meet the stakeholders, map the current state, and take the reins quickly.
Embedded delivery (project duration, typically 6–18 months). Usually full-time within your team, running the work day to day, under your sponsor's direction.
Flexibility throughout. Pace and scope adapt as needs change. When the project reaches a stable rhythm or completes, the engagement winds down or moves on.
The PM works alongside your team and can coordinate with Bleen analysts, experts or the CSO when those profiles are part of the engagement.
